Why you should consider WiFi channel 13 in Europe

WiFi is now ubiquitous in many populated areas. All three channels (1, 6 and 11) often suggested to avoid overlapping frequencies are often in use. Which of the remaining channels should you choose?

In Europe you should consider using channel 13. Most access points will use a default channel between 1 and 11 to ensure compatibility in USA. You may find that channel 13 overlaps the fewest other channels.
